About the Author

I am a businesswoman, researcher, professor, and mother. I became an emergency department nurse at 21 and by 28 embarked upon an entrepreneurial mission to change the model of nursing practice. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Business Administration, Master of Information Systems and Doctor of Education, Organization and Leadership. As a principal consultant in NakIVHealth and professor, I both applied and taught organizational theory over 20 years.

For thirty years I have honed my horticultural craft, crisscrossing a journey that has traversed both business and a passion for gardening.
